Khanh Nguyen Whited
Secretary
About Mr. Nguyen Whited
Khanh currently serves as CCODP’s System Administrator. Khanh began working with the CCODP team in 2022 as an AmeriCorps VISTA member serving through the Public Health Institute’s Center for Health Leadership and Impact. Khanh also formerly served as CCODP’s Board Secretary from 2024 to 2025.
Unlike most of CCODP’s team members, Khanh did not study or work in a medical or public health setting before joining the team; rather, Khanh joined shortly after graduating from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics as well as computer science coursework. In addition to using such experience to support CCODP in data modeling and other technical matters, Khanh’s personal struggles serve as a catalyst to aid others with similar experiences. Khanh intends to pursue a Master’s degree in Biostatistics to help the Central Coast community better understand the nature of the public health issues facing it.
Khanh’s free time is occupied by music composition, astronomy, cycling, amateur radio, hiking, and lamenting the current state of the AL West.

Aidan Pettit-Miller, EMT-B
AmeriCorps VISTA Member
About Mr. Pettit-Miller
Aidan graduated from the University of Arizona in 2022 with a BS in Public Health. While attending university, the fentanyl crisis began. He watched as his fellow students began to suffer from overdoses. Aidan wasted no time, and, in 2020, he alone began an initiative to deliver help and install Narcan around the school. He received state and local recognition for his years of effort. Aidan has continued since graduating, doing similar work at local high and middle schools, and mentoring other university students to complete opioid outreach. Aidan’s career goal is to become a physician and continue the journey he started at 20 years old to find solutions to the opioid crisis. He has recently settled into his role at CCODP to continue this journey and learn as much as he can about the crisis and the communities impacted. As a VISTA member, he supports the team and focuses on capacity building and expanding CCODP’s reach.
